Wolff Mount TV covers provide a protective cover for a compatible screen when it is not in use. Compare the cover’s stated dimensions with the complete TV installation, including its frame and the space occupied by a mount or cables.

Choose a cover by actual dimensions

Protect a covered outdoor TV installation

Measure the screen housing

Record the overall width, height and depth. The diagonal screen size describes the panel, not the outside dimensions of the TV.

Check the installation

Look at the mount, cable exits and any protruding components. Confirm that the cover can close as intended without pulling on connections.

Compare model features

Material, closures and access openings differ by cover. Use the description and pictures of the exact model you are considering.

Before you order

Use the cover as instructed and allow the equipment to cool before covering it. Remove the cover before operating the TV unless the specific instructions expressly allow otherwise. A cover does not turn an indoor TV into a weatherproof or outdoor-rated appliance.

Choose by the complete installation

Measure the TV housing from edge to edge, including the frame and any protruding fittings. Compare the overall depth with the cover information and consider the position of the mount behind the TV. Two televisions with the same screen diagonal can have different outside dimensions. A cover must fit the installed equipment without pulling tightly across corners or placing tension on cable plugs.

Plan access and storage

Look at how the exact cover opens and closes, and check whether the mounting and cable openings suit your setup. Make sure you can fit and remove it without putting your weight on the screen or bracket. When the television is in use, store the removed cover where it can remain clean and dry. Follow the care instructions for its material rather than assuming that every cover can be washed in the same way.

Understand the intended protection

A cover is part of an equipment-care routine, not a change to the television manufacturer’s environmental rating. Exposure to wind-driven rain, condensation, heat and direct sun requires separate consideration. Check the stated cover protection and keep the installation within the television’s permitted conditions. Let the equipment cool before fitting the cover, and inspect the covered installation regularly for moisture or loose fastening.

Common question

Is a TV cover a waterproof enclosure? Do not treat it as one. Follow the TV manufacturer’s environmental limits and check the cover’s stated protection and intended use.
