Keep your tablet in the right place

Device fit

Check the tablet’s width, thickness and weight with its case fitted. Diagonal screen size alone does not show whether the clamps will fit.

Position and adjustment

Compare the stated rotation, tilt and height adjustment. Check that the holder can reach the position you need without blocking nearby objects.

Vehicle use

Choose a model intended for the relevant vehicle mounting point. Keep the driver’s view, controls, airbags and seat movement clear.

Before you order

Make sure the clamps do not obstruct buttons, charging sockets or speakers. Secure the holder before placing the device in it, and follow the individual model’s installation instructions. A tablet holder is not a substitute for a protective case.

Measure the tablet with its normal case

Measure the outside width, height and thickness of the device as you intend to use it. A case, keyboard cover or camera housing can change the fit considerably. Compare these measurements with the stated holder range and check where the clamps contact the tablet. A nominal screen diagonal does not describe these outside dimensions. Keep the charging port, volume controls and camera accessible in the chosen orientation.

Choose around the task

For reading or video calls, consider the angle and distance from your normal seat. For a counter or presentation position, decide whether portrait, landscape or both are needed. A holder that rotates at the device does not necessarily adjust in height or reach. Compare each adjustment separately and allow room for the device to move without touching the desk, nearby wall or another screen.

Check the supporting position

A desk holder, floor support and vehicle attachment have different installation requirements. Match the product to the surface or fixing point specified in its instructions. Route a charging cable so that it does not pull on the holder. For vehicle installations, check that the holder does not interfere with safety equipment or seat adjustment and follow the applicable model guidance before travel.

Common question

Does every holder rotate? Adjustment differs by model. Check the specification rather than assuming a feature applies to the complete range.
