Measure the complete TV housing
A screen diagonal does not describe the full outside dimensions of the television. Measure width, height and depth, including the frame, connections and protruding parts of the installation. Compare those measurements with the stated cover fit. Check that the cover can be fitted and fastened without pulling on the screen housing or cables.
