Choose the viewing position
Think about where you watch most often and how the screen needs to sit in the room. A fixed TV bracket suits one viewing position, a tilting mount changes the vertical angle, and a full-motion wall mount can add extension and side-to-side movement. Check the folded position as well as the usable viewing position, particularly near furniture, a corner or a recessed media wall.
Measure before installation
Measure the horizontal and vertical spacing of the threaded holes on the back of the TV in millimetres. Wall fixing and cable clearance

A bracket load rating does not establish the strength of plasterboard, masonry or a timber wall. For a moving arm, keep cables free throughout the permitted travel and allow enough slack at the TV connections. Do not force an adjustment beyond its mechanical limits.
