Soundbar supports

Check the soundbar’s width, depth, weight and mounting holes. A support shelf and a screw-mounted bracket have different compatibility requirements.

TV-mounted brackets

Check how the bracket connects to the TV or TV mount, whether the VESA bolts remain suitable, and whether the extra device stays within every applicable load limit.

AV accessories

Device holders and other AV accessories may be made for a particular device generation or shape. Check the model-specific compatibility notes.

Before you order

Keep speakers, vents, buttons and cable connections accessible. Allow space for cables when the TV turns or tilts. Do not assume every holder in this category fits every soundbar, console or media player.

Decide whether the audio should follow the screen

If you regularly turn your television, a compatible TV-mounted soundbar bracket can keep the soundbar positioned with it. A wall-mounted support suits a setup where the soundbar remains in one place. Check the combined installation before choosing: a soundbar below the TV needs clearance from the TV stand, furniture and the screen as it tilts. Position the device without obstructing its speaker openings or controls.

Compare the actual attachment points

Some soundbars attach through threaded holes; others rest on a support. Measure the attachment spacing or the supported housing dimensions as appropriate. Check the product pictures alongside the technical information to understand where the load is carried. With a TV-mounted accessory, confirm that the mounting bolts and spacers still meet the TV and bracket instructions. The additional device and bracket weight must be allowed for in the supported installation.

Leave room for connections and servicing

Plan access to power, audio cables and any reset or pairing buttons. Media players and consoles need the ventilation clearance specified by their manufacturer. Route cables away from joints and moving arms, and leave enough slack for the TV movement. Choose a mounting position where you can remove the device for servicing without stressing connectors or dismantling unrelated equipment.

Will the soundbar move with the TV? Only when it is supported by a compatible TV-mounted bracket. A separate wall support remains in its installed position.
