Wolff Mount monitor arms and mounts provide defined support and adjustment for compatible displays. Choose the number of screens, attachment method and movement you need, then compare each display with the mount’s specifications.

Build a compatible desk setup

Position your display around your workspace

One or more screens

Check the capacity per screen and the supported screen size. Multiple-monitor mounts also need enough room for screen width and independent movement.

Desk attachment

Compare the clamp or other attachment requirements with your desk’s thickness, edge shape and construction. Confirm that the surface can support the installation.

Adjustment

Tilt, swivel, rotation and gas-spring adjustment differ by model. A gas-spring arm may have both a minimum and a maximum supported screen weight.

Before you order

Check VESA, monitor weight without its original stand and access to ports. Follow the assembly sequence and adjustment instructions. Leave slack in cables throughout the full movement and keep the desk attachment secure.

Compare movement with your working position

Decide whether you need to move the display daily, switch between portrait and landscape, or simply keep it in a fixed position. Compare height adjustment, reach, tilt and rotation separately. With two screens, account for both screen widths and the position of the arms. A large display can reduce the usable movement even when its weight and VESA pattern fit the mount.

Measure the desk attachment

Check the desk thickness, edge profile and available clearance beneath the surface. A clamp requires a suitable contact area; an alternative fixing may require an existing opening or a permitted drilled hole. The desk must support the complete assembly and attached screens. Do not assume a thin, hollow or glass desktop is suitable for every mounting method. Follow the individual product’s attachment instructions and any desk manufacturer restrictions.

Set up the arm with the correct load

For a gas-spring arm, the display must fall within the stated weight range. Adjust the mechanism according to the instructions after the monitor is attached as specified. Keep cables relaxed throughout the working movement and check access to ports. When choosing a curved or unusually shaped display, also compare its rear housing and mounting position with the plate dimensions. Contact Wolff Mount if the compatibility information leaves a specific detail unresolved.

Common question

Will every monitor work with a gas-spring arm? No. The VESA connection and the complete permitted weight range must match. Screens outside that range may not remain in position.
